Utilising the latest in TIG and MIG welding technology, Merc's welders realise the crucial importance of quality requirements and are highly-skilled at producing welded fabrication in all manners of steels and weldable alloys. Primarily working for the European Railway Market, the components and sub-assemblies we produce are all safety-critical and demand the highest standards of care, procedures and welding.
Since opening our TIG welding plant the core business has centred around Metro Train Emergency Doors. Producing parts for significant world players in Mass Transit, Merc have quickly learned to adapt to the quality and precision the industry demands, manufacturing complete sub-assemblies utilised in larger composite assemblies. Our current aim is to expand on incoming contracts and diversify on the scope of work obtained.
