Roy's arrival at Merc has heralded a new era for the planning department. Due to company growth, the planning department has been continually stretched and Roy's expertise in drawing and planning has helped Merc cope with an ever-increased order book.

Roy is married to Kathleen and has 2 daughters, Claire and Karen, both in their twenties. He enjoys motoring, TV and films (particularly thrillers) and DIY.
