Massive investments have been made in AG Charmilles and Astec EDM Machinery with Merc offering not only EDM Wire & Spark Erosion, but also EDM Fast-Hole Drilling.
Benefiting from the in-house ability to Wire Erode, Spark Erode and Fast Hole Drill not only means we can complete all operations, but it has allowed us to quote for, and win several new contracts. EDM gives us the leading edge for the manufacture of miniature and micro-miniature components with tight tolerances of - +/- 0.002mm.
