Merc Engineering is an expanding business, injecting regular investments into training and machinery. Our extensive manufacturing facility boasts CNC Turning & Milling, CNC Sliding Head Turning and CNC EDM Spark & Wire Erosion complete with precision EDM Fast-Hole Drilling.

One of our most recent investments has been directed towards a brand new TIG Welding Department, approved to stringent Railway Standard DIN 6700-2, which now enables the company to supply its customers with complete sub-assemblies, thus converting the company into a one-stop shop engineering company.
The acquisition of Bright Spark Precision Engineering in March 2008 has significantly increased our CNC Turning & Milling capacity, with the addition of numerous Mazak CNC Machines. Both Merc and Bright Spark also benefit from more traditional, conventional engineering services such as Surface Grinding, Milling and Centre Lathe Turning.
Merc have adjusted their capacity to specialise in the manufacture of small to medium sized precision machined components in difficult-to-machine aerospace and subsea alloys, such as Inconel, Hastelloy, Titanium, Duplex Stainless Steel and Metal Matrix Composites.
